Welcome to the first in our series, “Squatch Watch.” In this series, Puget Sound Monster Club (PSMC) tracks Bigfoot sightings across North America. We provide a brief timeline, news summary, and source links so you can check it out for yourself. Get the scoop after the jump.

Squatch Sighting Timeline

September 3rd

Carter County, KY

Feature story recounts regional Bigfoot lore and includes a recently shared footprint photo by a resident (with an object for scale). It’s a “stories & sightings” piece rather than a single incident, but the photo and fresh testimonies were published.

September 9th

Mount Baldy, CA

A BFRO group post describes a “loud, booming sasquatch howl” near the Mt. Baldy trailhead parking area around 7:45 a.m. No audio posted and no corroborating ranger reports, but multiple hikers discussed hearing an unusual call.

September 13th

Poplar Bluff, MO

A daylight game-camera image shows a large, dark figure standing mid-creek on private land. The witness filed a report with BFRO; multiple outlets covered the submission in mid-September. Skeptics note pareidolia and artifacting; the report includes time, weather, and location details.

October 3rd

Courtenay, BC, Canada

A short video shot “just outside of Courtenay” made the rounds claiming a Sasquatch figure; the original sharer later framed it tongue-in-cheek (“and it is not a video of Sasquatch”), but the clip still fueled debate. Treat as an internet curiosity, not evidence.

October 1st

Troup County, GA

Expedition: Bigfoot! museum shared a tip from a named driver (Ms. Brenda Kline) describing a tall, hair-covered figure crossing near the road; a local station echoed the post. No photos released; described as a brief, close-range glimpse at night.
