Hi there. Thanks for stopping by to learn more about cryptozoology, cryptids and monsters in general. While we get started, you can see what we have planned after the jump.
Who we are
Puget Sound Monster Club is a group of amateur cryptozoologists and monster enthusiasts located in … well … Puget Sound. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about our love for all things monstrous.
The club members have varied backgrounds in government, technology, digital media, engineering, geography and education. It gives us an interesting take on monster hunting and cryptozoology.
What’s a monster club to begin with?
We formed a club because our members have different interests in cryptids and monsters. Some just want to fan boy (or girl) over monsters. Others want to go into the field to find cryptids. A few have a very keen interest in monster science. So, a club was more appropriate than a cryptozoological investigation team.
Types of posts to come
We want to cover a little bit of everything when it comes to monsters. That means we’ll publish content like:
- TV/movie/podcast/YouTube reviews
- Cryptozoological profiles
- Personal encounter stories
- Debunking analyses
- Field trips to find monsters
Regional focus … or not
While our focus in on monsters and cryptids of the Pacific Northwest, we’ll cover other regional monsters. That’s because most of the club is originally from outside Cascadia. We have members from California, Texas, Wisconsin, Canada, Illinois, and (yes!) Washington. Mind you, we all live in the Puget Sound area now.
So, expect some love for monsters from other parts of North America.
Thanks again for stopping by. Pardon our empty blog while we get to writing, adventuring, and finding monsters near you.
Take care,
Jake
